You can never have too many pencils because the only pencil sharpener you own hides from you.

Lecturers must have really short memories....why else would they need you to reference the very book they asked you to read, a million times, in your work!
That no matter how big your desk is, it still isn't big enough for all your stuff

The dictionary becomes your new best friend
That you can't trust wikipedia and are not allowed to use it for research....(the academics don't like it, probably because it could be written by someone without a degree)
And that Facebook is a powerful drug...
so you need to create an online study group as a reason to check it every hour! LOL.
