After the last post about taking the
mean mummy pledge I got to thinking about the other not negotiables I use to be a mummy.
The first one is and always will be:
- My kids will know that I will always love them no matter what. I will tell them every day, I will show them everyday and it will never stop.
that is followed by;
- I will always have their back....if they are getting bullied, picked on or feel threatened in any way, this mummy lioness will be ready to do battle! (I also work hard to give them the skills to handle these situations too)
- No adult will ever hurt or abuse them while I am around, (I was abused as a child and that makes it even more important to me that they are not).They have been given the tools to keep themselves safe.
- They can be themselves with me and their father, their home and family is safe and accepting.

- Family is important to our family, we will always make time to visit extended family members and will celebrate special family events together.

- I will celebrate my children's achievements, not only the ones where they get a certificate or trophy but the little ones where they have shown courage or confidence.
 |
| Western always gets really nervous before public singing or speaking so we were escpecially proud that he did his part in the Button box play really well. |
- I will work hard to suppor their learning and will take an active interest in their school life. (oh the shame!)
- Neil and I will give them lots of life experiences as they grow. (interesting and new activities to support their knowledge of this world.)

- And finally they will always finish the day with a cuddle and go to bed feeling loved and safe.
