Hope you all wore sun block

What a cracker of a day (pun intended). We couldn't have asked for a better day for Christmas. But boy does that heat make you tired.

One very tired Ethan around 2pm. I took him home for a much needed nap....for both of us but shhh don't tell anyone.

 Well it has been kinda of busy these last couple of days, I got the boys busy in the kitchen yesterday making reindeer noses and mini Christmas puddings from Mallowpuffs, white chocolate, jaffas and spearmint leaves. (Thanks to Lauren from Eketahuna Playcentre for the cool idea).

 Then we had an early start with present opening after a late night last night. Kids can never sleep on Christmas Eve, Ethan had gone to sleep but woke up and we were up until 11 again! When I turned Westerns light off he had the telescope set up looking out the window, looking for Santa I imagine!

Gifts of the day were a Dragon happy napper cushion, Harry Potter set of movies and 2 remote control go kart cars.

 These Nerf guns were fun too, they should have been water pistols to help keep us all cool!

After lunch, time was spent getting reacquainted with cousins, camera shy cousins, and chillaxing on the swing chair.

And being entertained by the very cute Emily!

Must be time to venture back for our BBQ tea, Ethan is awake and my tummy is rumbling...I have been very restrained in the food department, only single helpings....so far! LOL
