Christmas take 2

As with most families I'm sure, Christmas is often spread over 2 days to accommodate both sides of families. Ours is no different. Christmas day was with Neil's side and Boxing day was for my side. We were blessed to have most of the family together including Gail and her children who travelled from Palmerston North and Ron's older son Nathan whom we hadn't met yet.

My sister Gail looking very summery and relaxed.

Kyle (14) with little brother Lincoln (7)
Shelby (5)

Ethan loved Shelby and they played together all day. We heard them singing songs to each other on the tramp and exploring Ethan's toy boxes together chatting together like they see each other every day.
Ethan and Shelby sharing a secret.

It was also great to have Kayne, Kyle and Glen there together. They are the three oldest grandchildren along with Codie.
Boy, have they changed since this Christmas shot 7 years ago...

 Lincoln aged 7
 Western at 9
 Kayne at 18
 Glen at 16
Tama now aged 7

We missed not having Lance and his family there due to a decent dose of Chicken Pox in their house. Only Granny and Roger were brave enough to visit. I definitely don't want chicken pox in the holidays!

 Sarah, Lance's partner
Lance and his girls, Amy and Lily.
And of course the chicken pox queen who started it all...Grace.

As always Codie was missed, its been 4 years since we have managed to have Codie for Christmas, our time will come. Tama and Madison were also absent spending time with their whanau in Wellington.

One year, maybe next year or the next we will get all the family together and manage a big family photo like the Morris side managed last year.

Whoops sorry wrong family!

But even if we don't make it together for Christmas we are always together in our thoughts.
