Chaos reigns supreme at Brooklyn Road!

Its day 3 of the holidays and already we have had 3 days with a house full of kids. My nieces and nephews have spent most of the days here by the pool, playstation, computer, toys, or tv.
Neil has managed to escape with his mates and the jetboat and today off to work. He knocks of on Wednesday and then will be around to annoy me  to spend time with us until the 10th.
This at Rachels house, all on the PS2.
Grace, the neighbour Liam and Western have a swim...one of many.
Tama is a pro on the slipperly slide.

To say my house is a mess is a massive understatement. Today is clean up day once the kids are out of bed.
We had a sleepover on Sat night, 2 mattresses on the lounge floor, lots of kids and no sleep until after midnight. The kids were up at 7 but both my boys were a bag of shite  really grumpy  from around 3 yesterday. Both boys are still sleeping to catch up. It doesn't help that its so damn hot at night time and your four year old is snuggled right up too you all night!

Ok I'm back...and you didn't even know I was gone did you! I have found the floor in Ethan/Neils room. The toys are back in their places ready for the next onslaught. I was careful to sort all the accessories with the respective toys like Mr Potato Head. After watching Toy Story 3 over the weekend 3 times I just can't help wonder if the toys do come to life. I remember thinking they do when I was a kid and always had my doll dressed for the right season. The third Toy Story doesn't disappoint, pure story telling genuis again.

The scene at the end made me cry! I would have kept Woody! I have all the toys from Toy Story, I bought them when the first movie came out about 20 years ago it seems. It was way before I had kids. They do get played with heaps and I will be keeping them for the grandkids.
I have the Shrek movie on my to watch list as well but not today I have to keep cleaning.
See yah
