Well the day has finally dawned, the start of the new school year. After much anticipation, nerves, tears and right out fear I'm ready to send both my boys to school.
The boys were up fed, dressed, organised and out the door by 8.30. a good start, long may it last.
After a 5 minute photo shoot, and last minute advice from Western, we were on our way. (He was telling him that it will be ok and its fun at school!)
Talk about mini and mighty!
Yes, I'm one of those Mums who take a million photos and even walk backward to take them LOL!
Mr O'Leary was on crossing duty and was telling Ethan how smart he looked in his uniform, Ethan was just trying to get around him. LOL.
Western is in the senior class now with a last minute change of teacher to Mr Tim Vincent. He has had him before as a relieving teacher and he is lots of fun, hopefully it will be good for Western to have a man teacher to finish off his primary years. Only 4 to go until college, gulp.
Ethan was pretty nervous but soon Western showed him the cool lego and he was away. Western is taller than the new entrant teacher now LOL. He had come down to show Ethan around the classroom, cool eh.
After a few minutes Ethan was happy and busy with James and said good bye quite happily.
I was home before the bell rang, what a great start to the school year!
And surprisingly I'm fine, really I am........really.......oh god wheres the tissues LOL
