This woman is a cooks on a budget best friend! I've owned a couple of her recipe books for years and just added three more to my collection. I read somewhere an average cook has 11 recipes they use all the time, well I've just added 11 new recipes to my collection with more to come.
These two recipes are both from her Family meals for under $10 book which my lovely mother gave me for my birthday so I could take the library copy back!
Her fudge cake is to die for, spiced apple cake is delis both hot with cream or cold as a cake, and her quick quiches have graced many a pot luck function table.
