Library closed for a month..what are they thinking?

Our local library, my second favourite place in the world, (the first is my bed reading) is closing for a month! They are moving into a nearly finished Carterton Event Centre soon but first the shelving must be moved so all their books will be in boxes on the floor. Could you imagine moving house but having to live out of the boxes for a month first! I can see why they are not letting anybody in to mess up what must be a major logistical nightmare of keeping the books in order.
I would never make a good librarian...I always always have to sing the alphabet song and I would want to be tucked up in a corner reading!
So I spent an hour in the library yesterday stocking up on books to hopefully last a month. Heaven forbid I have to read Twilight yet again LOL! (that was a joke, I'm probably going to read again lots!)
I've finally got my hands on Land of the Painted Caves by Jean Auel so thats up first. Followed by a lot of supernatural titles, cause you know thats what I like at the moment.

I'm trying to widen my horizon, I have a few movies I want to read... like Water for Elephants, The Time Travellers Wife, The Help, Twilight...or have I read that?
Symptoms of a reader right there!

Whoops 2 hours on the computer just whizzed by like 2 seconds, its time to go pick up Ethan from preschool, who is loving it now!

  1. Glad I am not the only one that needs to recite the alphabet to find things.

  2. A closed Library!?
Not fun for a bookaholic such as yourself, just as well you have stocked up.

I have a pile of books on my bedside table to get through... last count seven :-)
