Steampunk....have you heard of it?





What is Steampunk? According to Wikipedia, Steampunk is actually the term used to refer to fantasy and science fiction written in the Victorian age. A time when many machines were still steam powered. Now, if you were to describe a gadget as being “steampunk”, you’d be referring to a design integration of futuristic form with design elements and craftsmanship consistent with the Victorian era. To get an idea of what Steampunk looks like think Wild Wild West  and HG Wells Time Machine movies. Items are generally made with materials that include wood, copper, brass and iron
.I've always liked stuff that was a bit different and have now found a name for it.Check out some of my favourite steampunked stuff.....
