My first ever blog posted reposted from Wordpress

After getting frustrated with Facebook and having to be careful about what I posted I decided to follow my friend Ann on to Wordpress and start a blog.
I have so many things buzzing around in my head that I need to get them out to someone and as I'm a garage widow that leaves the unsuspecting world of the web!

Lets start with funeral planning.....what the hell I hear you say! I know I know why am I thinking about my funeral at the tender age of 40 something. (I have to work it out in my head how old I am so I'm sticking with 40 something ok!). I have unfortunately been to a few funerals in my life and they are terrible things with the people giving the speech not even knowing the person they are talking about. I have always thought a good idea would be to do a video myself and get it played at the funeral, what fun you could have! I'd start with "well well well here we all are, it looks like I drew the short straw for chairing this meeting!" ( Playcentre talk here) or I could say "Shit whats happened" or "is that the time already". Then I would ask people to leave who I didn't want there or ask where the hell so and so is, that would freak a few out. I would give an interesting  rundown on my life, things like being fired from my first job after one day, and that leads me to the flyer they hand out, who really wants to know who the pall bearers are ( I won't make anybody carry me poor bastards would break their backs), I'd rather see more photos of me and my greatest achievements my family, along with all the juicy information about me of course! And I certainly wouldn't get anybody to sing, that's a torture enough to raise the dead! There are heaps of great songs out there, I'm going to be cremated, (less chance of coming back as a vampire or other undead delight) so Burning down the House by Talking Heads is a must as the coffin gets lowered to the pyre. I'm still thinking about the headstone, its gotta be good, Billy Connolly has a couple of good ideas. One was "Fuck is that the time already?" or having the words "You're standing on my head" in really tiny letters so you have to go right up to read them. I'll let you know when I decide as I'm sure this subject is just so fascinating to you all! LOL.
