The week that was

You know its been too long between posts when you have to log back in to Blogger.
I just physically haven't had time to sit down and put together a post. Computer time has been a precious commodity in our house lately. Westen has a new Avatar game which he has been spending far too much time on, so I have only been getting time to do the email, bank, facebook thing. LOL
I actually got to go out this week with friends and see this movie. OMG its the funniest thing I have seen in a very long while. My ribs were so sore from laughing the next day. The theatre was full of middle aged women all cackling away in sympathy the whole movie. I really must get out more often, it felt so good to recharge my batteries with me time.
Breaking Dawn is coming soon, thats the next movie to see on the big screen.
We had a week of celebrations starting with my friend Ann's birthday on Sunday.
I want to know her secret of getting her hubby to buy her pressies! Mal spoilt her rotten with a whole heap of scrapping stuff and she got to go out too! jealous who me!

Neil turned 50 on Monday. He got a cake and a nice tea. I also got him a book about Burt Munro cause he just loves the movie. We are all going out to dinner on Saturday night. by we I mean my family and his family who I do try to avoid putting together in the same room but it can't be avoided at times like these. We are going to Cobb and co cause they have a playground for kids so as not to annoy the old people! LOL.
Tuesday saw us celebrate 9 years of marriage and celibacy. LOL. Poor Neil has spent the last 4 years in Ethans bed, and while he gets lots of sleep the old marital rights have gone downhill.

A scarey photo from our wedding day, actually with that dress they were all pretty scarey. What was i thinking! Pregancy will do that to a bride. Anyway after a 7minute ceremony we were married. Then everything felt right with the world. After 21 years and a few bumps I was finally Mrs Morris my mother in law Neils wife. I had earned my dues on the journey to the altar!

Wednesday was my birthday, a non event which was fine with me. I'm saving up to a big celebration next year at 45. I'm gonna get drunk and kick up my heels....probably not....well maybe get drunk and cry at being so god damm old!
Tomorrow is Molly the dogs birthday, the kids have bought her a new chew toy (they didn't buy me anything sob) and we have planned a dog roll cake lined with tux biscuits. We are still really impressed with Molly and her gentleness and goofyness.
So that is the week that was, time to get the kids out the door for their respective activities and I'm off to Featherston Playcentre to run a workshop.
