The snow has gone but not the cold!

I hope my succulents survive!
We have a tiny bit of snow left on our tramp, probably the snowmans feet, but apart from that the snow has gone. Its still bloody cold here in the Wairarapa though! For the first year I'm wearing socks and have brought gumboots. I'm so pleased I got a new dressing gown this year, my old one wouldn't have coped! LOL.

Anyone who knows Neil, knows how he loves to pick on kids. The snowball fight we heard over the back fence was too much for him to resist. We soon heard cries of where did that snowball come from, which sent Neil running and hiding behind the fence where they couldn't see him. Do we know these neighbours? No, but I'm sure they know who were are now LOL!
Neil throwing snowballs over the back fence. See how deep the snow is.

Ethan hiding from Neil during the snowball fight. Must buy that boy some gloves.

Last night around midnight, yes I was still up and had not long got home from a meeting in Featherston, we heard lots of noise outside, on investigating we discovered a house trundling by on a truck very slowly as it was having issues with the overhead lines.
The house was so big it was in two parts on two trucks. I'd love a bigger house...sigh!
