Today has been a blah day so far. Ethan and I ventured out for the first time in over a week together. He has been very ill and I thought he was well enough to go to Playcentre but alas he wasn't. He cried and cried and clung and clung and we had to leave.
He was asleep in the car on the way home and is now tucked up on the chair in his spiderman sleeping bag.
Hence the need for several coffees in my favourite mug. This mug was found at the local op shop for 50c and it reminds me of having visits at my aunties place as a child. She had these cups and it makes me happy to have one now.
This small happy is about a smile on Ethans face surrounded in chocolate cake mix. This is from yesterday but it was good to see him smile after so many days of illness. The cake was pretty nice too!
This small happy is seeing Western enjoying Molly as a headrest. She has been sneaking up onto the couch and chairs lately and actually is asleep on the couch right now. Sneaky wee thing! (not so wee actually). Western is really good with Molly and loves to play with her after school.
Not such a small happy for me but for Ethan. Neil brought home a wild rabbit on the weekend which Ethan loves. I'm rather grumpy about that as I had told him no more. We have had lambs, goats, pigs and rabbits brought home after hunting trips and they are a pain in the arse! Wild animals belong in the wild not in a poxy cage on our back lawn!
And the final small happy is Neil has finally rung Sky and got more channels hooked up so we have Animal Planet, Nat Geographic and UkTV channels amongst others now.
