Oh the shame!

Oh my god sometimes being a woman is so god damned embarrassing! Being an obese woman just adds to the embarrassment. I've gotten used to having the extension strap on planes, not being able to fit in the booths at Burger King and having kids ask me why I'm fat. (I tell them its cause I eat too many lollies and they shouldn't eat too many or they will end up like me...just trying to pass on a little healthy advice!). Up in my top 5 of embarrassing moments is the good old smear test. I've had one where 3 different women have tried to find my cervix, apparently it was as embarrassed as i was and went into hiding!.
But yesterday was really bad. I'm having lots of medical tests for various issues and this included having a gallbladder scan followed by a pelvic scan. Now you fellow women will know that you don't alway shave your armpits or legs in the winter and I'm the same. I did shave my pits yesterday morning thinking I might have to air them and I was right. I didn't shave my legs cause I didn't think my jeans would have to hit the floor but horrors horrors the technician said I had to have an internal scan! This was after the embarrassment of having to hold my tummy up so she could get to my pelvis! LOL. Having a internal scan by a woman is just wrong peoples...wrong, wrong, wrong! I lay there trying to make jokes like even my hubby hasn't been there for a year (lead balloon) and I should have shaved my legs ( a small smile)  and I was so relieved when it was over. But I do have a cyst on my left ovary which the Dr will talk to me about and the gall stone is still only one but bigger, the surgeon will talk to me about that on Wednesday. No wonder my blood pressure was 161/111 all day. I'm checking my blood pressure all week for the Dr as well. The normal rate is 120 /80 so its kinda high hence the splitting headache and feeling tired all the time. Bring on the surgery or two and drugs and get me back to me!
