Did he put her up to it?

So did my hubby put my friend up to it? Around 5 last night I got a call from my friend that she was coming to visit at 7.30. She wanted to talk Playcentre and check out my scrapbooks. So suddenly a switch was thrown and I whipped into a cleaning frenzy. I found my dining table, the bench, the floor, the toilet was cleaned (little boys toilet training here!) and fresh towels put in the bathroom. Phew then my house was ready to recieve a visitor that is not family. (They know what I'm like and still love me). 7.30 rolls around and no friend, I'm not worried as I am spending some time sorting my stash and she is always late. 8.00 the phone rings and she can't come. Her hubby and her had a clash of schedules. Thats alright so we talk for an hour and got lots sorted.
But as soon as I'm off the phone my hubby says she can come anytime cause it gets the house clean. And the sad thing is its true LOL!So what do you think? Did he put her up to it?
