I then got to wondering why I don't have anything to say. Am I sitting at home doing nothing, talking to nobody and just vegetating. No I'm not! I'm never home, but when I am home I have to fight for the computer. We are a one computer household and everybody wants a turn, including the playdates!
Also and heres the shocking part....my husband doesn't know I blog, he hates the whole idea of it all and even dislikes Facebook. (He does cruise around on there sometimes spying! LOL). So this means I can't blog when he is home. So this severly limits my time to blog. Sometimes I'm just too busy living my life to blog about it LOL.
So what have I been doing?
Ethan and I trot off to Playcentre everyday where we immerse ourselves in paint, glue and playdough. I read to the children at morning tea time, (up to 10 books each morning) take photos, write observations, make up welcome packs, try to make sure everything is running smoothly, and sometimes find time for a coffee. Ethan has special friends at each centre and now trots of to play with them which leaves me to focus on the younger children. this week we have done marble painting, bubble blowing, decorated name tags, made caterpillars out of egg cartons and put together 3 hotwheels ride ons. When we are at Carterton playcentre our home centre we then go home to hang washing, clean the bench of the breakfast dishes......who am I kidding! I get on the computer and the time just whizzes by!
I check my emails first which often leads to lots of work, then Stuff.co.nz where I attempt the quiz, attempt being the operative word! Then its onto Facebook to see what everybody is up to and closely followed by a catchup of my favourite blogs. Then its off to Pinterest for as long as I can before Ethan starts demanding my attention. (hes actually yelling at me from the bedroom right now LOL)
This normally leaves me about half an hour to quickly whizz around the house and make it look like I've done something before sitting down to watch 60 minute home make over with Mum.
I know Neil isn't fooled, I hear him telling his mates that I spend all day on the computer, its actually only a couple of hours really!!!
Its not always like this but since winter has hit it is as good as it gets for me! In the summer I'm outside in the fresh air for gardening, watching Ethan jump on the tramp or hanging out washing.
The weekends are spent finding and returning books, videos and toys to the appropriate libraries and giving my house a once a week do over. You know...toilets, bathroom, change sheets, find uniforms, and trying to recharge the batteries for another week. Somewhere in that lot I find time to read, watch a movie, catch up with family and bake. Sometimes shopping happens too, not just groceries but good things like cushion covers or jewellery.
So while its kinda middle of the road at the moment there are no dramas happening which is nice!
