Welcome to Club Fun....

With 6 kids to keep happy I made sure I had plenty of supplies on hand for activities, baking and eating! The kids arrived and immediately got out the lego (lego is so universal, all ages, both sexes). Then they split into playing the Nintendo, PS2 and computer. But determined not to let them do that all day I got out my face paints and got painting.

They chose their designs from my book and are a werewolf vampire, a mermaid princess, a crocodile, and a parrot. Me I prefer tigers and butterflies but hey its their face. My boys didn't get theirs painted, they are over facepainting I think!
Then we got the collage supplies out and made birthday cards, paintings and painted these cute little dolls I found at the warehouse. The two big girls Melissa and Grace then had a go at making cupcakes.
Even the crocodile painted a cute heart picture for his mum's birthday. Regular food breaks along the way and we had some happy campers.
When Rachel got home from work we had a birthday cake all reading and waiting for her. She needed help blowing out the candles, (damn those magic relighting candles snigger) and we all had afternoon tea.I did manage to get the kids outside a couple of times for some fresh air and exercise and I'm happy to report the day went well and nobody was hurt in the process!
I had to show you this photo of my boys watching tv by the fire taken on the very cold day in the weekend....
Like two peas in a pod!
