I'm tired but feeling very virtuous

We got back from Palmerston North at 5 in time to cook the kids an easy tea of chicken tenders and chips followed by an Eskimo pie for pudding in thanks for them great kids while my sisters and I worked hard all day weeding gardens. mowing lawns, weed spraying and to finish off cleaning the bathroom walls, toilet, and changing the lounge around.
Gail is very relieved to have her yard under control again and only has to get the carpet cleaned where the kids spilled raspberry fizzy (there's a reason my kids only drink lemonade in my lounge) and put out all the rubbish we collected today. I'm booked in to go back in the holidays and sort out her books with her. She must have 300 - 400 books and that is the gods honest truth. They are everywhere! We are also going to change her bedrooms around so the kids can have a playroom off the lounge and somewhere for the million toys they own. (more than my kids and that's saying something!)This photo was taken during a holiday sort out of all our  their toys
This is my kids collection which has grown slightly since this was taken 2 years ago.
This is Kyles bedroom, one of the rooms we are moving in the holiday, I think it best I take rubber gloves and tongs! LOL.
I wonder if Gail will come and clean my sons rooms when they are teenagers LOL! Western has the potential to be like this already. This is going to be the new toy room.
I feel like I've done an honest days work now and am off to get the kids ready for bed and then I will curl up with my book I've been struggling to read "The Red Tent" or maybe a readers digest.
