They are not doing what they are told, they are making huge messes, Ethan has had two tantrums which involves lying on the hallway floor pulling the books and videos out of the book cases! There has been lots of toy throwing, hitting and yelling and thats just me! LOL. I'm soooo looking forward to being away for 2 nights next weekend. I'm off to the National Playcentre Executive meeting in Upper Hutt on Friday and I've already started packing...my need to get away is very big right now!
I've been trying to get them distracted or interested in something different but they seem to have the attention span of a marshmellow and won't settle on anything. To make matters worse its raining and they can't go outside.
They say dress your kids in nice clothes so they always are a pleasure to look at, I've only just managed to get my kids out of their pjs and its lunchtime.

ReplyDeleteThey can be awfully trying at times, but being stuck inside during rainy days just seems to make things worse!?
I prescribe 3 bourbons and a lie down with a good book or video.... Or just lock yourself away in the loo for 5 minutes and think of Alexander Skarsgard.... that should put a smile on your face....hehe
