I follow a readers gallery on Two Peas in a Bucket scrapbooking website. Everytime I find a layout I like a right click and voila its in my computer...I love the magic of the internet. There is a term for this...scraplifting which sounds very close to shoplifting something I would never do! (well maybe once when I was 8 but thats another story) Last night I decided I needed some inspiration and just clicked on one of the images I had saved and copied it, then another and another and another. For once I made the layout first before choosing the photos but it seemed to work. Here are the results of my scraplifting and I apologise for not crediting the work to the rightful owners but I haven't noted the scrapper for each layout.

A very retro look for me, I have added a ribbon down the middle of the circle line. I bought a retro story book from the sallie shop and cut the picture out. It took me a few minutes to pluck up the courage to cut into a book, it goes completely against my book lover self! LOL.

This one I did on my own, I didn't even realise the blue in the elephants matched his top. Blue lettering would have looked better but I didn't have the right colour paint or ink. I may revisit this layout to improve but it does look fine as it is.

Another one of my own layouts, note the rip curl tag saved from somewhere, I often use clothing tags as embellishments.

The skulls reflect what is on Glens tshirt something else I didn't notice until I was finished, I love skulls and have used them a lot with Western's layouts.
I've left the table in a huge mess ready for another night of inspired scrapping...I'm on a roll but now I have to go let the dog out, get showered and dressed and get the kids out the door for the Playcentre playgroup today.
WOW....You have been very busy!!!
ReplyDeleteThey all look great and being inspired by other peoples work is a good thing.
