Each year in Carterton there is a Wheelbarrow Racing event held in March in tribute to the early settlers who wheelbarrowed trees over the Rimutakas to Carterton. Carterton Playcentre usually enter in the decorated wheel barrow section and this particular year we had Vicki in charge. Vicki has a very creative background and is a body artist amongst other things.
This is her vision - Queen and consorts from fantasy land.

I'm sure the judges of the race had no idea what they had struck but it did look awesome!
